Fees Information

Mr K. S. Ehtesham Khan Lodi's fees are based on the amount of money being disputed (including legal costs), and the mediation fee is usually split equally between the mediating parties. The fees are on a per party basis, so regardless of whether the dispute involves two parties or three or four parties or more, each party pays their fee; therefore the below fees are examples based on there being two parties to the dispute.

Mediation Fees

Claim Value of up to £25,000.00 - £500.00 (£250.00 per party) Half Day or £800.00 Full Day (£400.00 per party)

Claim Value £25,000.00 to £50,000.00 - £1,000.00 (£500.00 per party) Half Day or £1500.00 Full Day (£750.00 per party)

Claim Value £50,000.00 to £100,000.00 - £1,500.00 (£750.00 per party) Half Day or £2000.00 Full Day (£1,000.00 per party)

Claim Value of more than £100,000.00 - Please raise an enquiry so that your requirements can be discussed and a bespoke fee quote can be provided.

The fee covers the preparation time for the mediation as well as the mediation itself, a half day is up to 4 hours (10:00 - 14:00) and a full day is classified as up to 7 hours (10:00 - 17:00); any additional time is charged pro-rata.

Venue Fees

The mediation can be conducted remotely online or at a physical venue arranged by the parties and no additonal charges are incurred by the parties for attendance at venue within Greater London and up to 10 miles outside of Greater London. An additional fee of £250.00 (overall, to be shared between the parties) is payable where the venue is beyond 25 miles outside Greater London. If the mediator is required to arrange a physical venue for the parties then an additional fee of £250.00 is payable for arranging the venue.

Cancellation Fees

All bookings require a non-refundable deposit payment of 25% of the total fee, this fee is non-refundable in any event, the remaining payable charges are to be paid by ideally 7 days or at least 3 days prior to the date of the mediation, there are no cancellation charges save for the non-refundable deposit as aforementioned.
